Re: Ibuprofen question.

acetaminophen (aka Tylenol) has some concerns regarding liver damage. Regardless of the "overdose" information listed in the article, my mother-in-law has significant liver damage due to acetaminophen.

Not saying you shouldn't take it, but just something to be aware of.

Re: Checking signal strength on my router?

A pretty simply test would be to use the laptop or the iPad, where you know they have good wireless antennae, and see what your signal strength is. If your laptop and iPad have a hard time, it's probably a poor signal from the wireless router. Otherwise, grab a wireless router you know has a good si...

I've used a few - I like SimpleHelix.net simply because they are so friendly, but their admin page is a challenge.

At work, we have 20+ domains through gkg.net. Pretty easy to work with and make changes. Though I've used NetSol, and didn't think they were bad.

Similar issues can mean that the battery is not charged enough to boot. Sometimes the cord isn't plugged in, or it's defective, so it tries to use the battery.

That's probably fair. Definitely requires a lot more talent to be good at it. Maybe that's why it doesn't have as much of an appeal.

Because it doesn't appeal to the current market. You plop Descent into todays market, and it'll flop faster then a fish on land. I know you're going to say you don't care, and that Descent is made to appeal to the current market. But I think if you took Descent I or II, and polished it a bit, you'd ...

I took a biz math class recently, all open book. What was difficult, though, was every quiz had a 30 minute cap, and had 10 questions. Each question was a Word problem. Very hard to get each problem done in 3 minutes. The final and mid term were worse - you had like 2.5 minutes per question, and had...

Rifles tend to recoil backward, Pistols tend to recoil up, simply because of the way you hold them/their size. But realistically, if I am aiming with either a Rifle or Pistol, the recoil is mostly going to push me up. I have to retarget everytime. Usually games have a "blind fire" or "...

There's a bigger perspective here... By putting ads out there, you don't directly influence your google ranking. You do, however, create more exposure for your brand, which can result in links to your brand, which, as Jeff250 noted, is what boosts your rank. I should strongly note that not all links...

Adobe browser labs works with javascript (obviously you can't interact with it). What is nice is you can setup overlayed screenshots of each browser, and see how they differ. You can also have it delay before it takes it snapshot (so if you have javascript that delays or something).
