DXX-Rebirth Randomizer

Over the past while, I have been putting together this little project. I think it's ready for a first official release. DXX-Rebirth Randomizer v0.2.0 To use, simply drop the EXE over an existing DXX-R installation. It randomly shuffles the location of every object as well as the data of each matcen ...

I only caught the debate between 5:30 and 6:00 (when CBS cut off the minority leader), but one thing the speaker before said caught my attention - What do you think of the accusation that the proceedings violated impeachment procedural rules? Re: More modding questions + levels to playtest

Most level editors have a built-in HOG utility to add levels in. MN2 files are plain text files. I know DLE has a mission editor for the MN2 file (where you configure things like level order, secret levels, etc.), but I prefer notepad since DLE can be a little difficult to work with. If you look at ...

Virtually every time I come on here I have to log in, even if I checked "Remember me" a couple hours earlier. Leaving the site logs me off, ignoring the checkbox. This has been happening for at least a month now.

Re: Vertigo Bots being replaced by D1 bots

Just make sure to include d2x.ham (renamed after your hog file) in your mission. A side effect of Rebirth removing persistent mods from mission to mission (so you don't i.e. fight enemy within mechs while playing some random mission) was that Vertigo mechs also aren't persistent, leading to missing ...

If you use an x32 OS such as Windows XP you can use DTX2. It has a converter built-in, though its MIDI->HMP converter doesn't work under a fairly significant edge case. You're going the other way though, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Come to think of it, you should just be able to use a HOG editor on the shareware HOG to make sure you have the right songs, since all HOGs are is a noncompressed file container

If you can convert from HMP to midi and have access to a HOG editor and some good software, you can extract the .HMQ (not HMP) files from the HOG. Those are the FM versions, which I believe are also the shareware versions.

If you can get WinRAR, they don't actually care if you pay. The warning about the expired trial period is only for companies who don't want to risk legal trouble later down the road should WinRAR decide to enforce the limited trial period.

Quick thing I noticed - in level 7, the medium hulk physics are broken. DLE sets things' mass to 0 if you edit anything on the physics tab, so any edits of that form should be done in another program like RBoTEdit.

Level 22 is not the hardest, but it does have a notable problem involving static shield boosts that can leave survival up to RNG. You'll find out soon enough.

The reason they can't shoot into the start corridors is because the other side of those walls are solid (which was the point of the level btw).
