now, Lothar, the question will be whether mankind will have depleted, or ruined, sufficient resources to make any life sustainable by that point. Probably not. But we probably will have to rely considerably less on fossil fuels and other non-renewable resources. Deer studies have looked at this ver...

I think what they're suggesting is simply using our self-restraint and allow junk like this to die on the vine, unanswered. Exactly. Why intentionally give life to a thread you want to die, and then ask someone else to kill it? Why put in the effort to respond so that you can ask Foil to put in eve...

The fact is that such smooth peaks only work when the ecosystem is balanced and there is adequate predation/limitation on all species. With humans, you don't have that. You don't need "predation" per se, you just need factors that reduce net population growth as carrying capacity is appro...

Threads like this are the opposite of that, and produce exactly what they are designed to produce -- garbage. I'm trying to educate you on how to not produce garbage. It's very simple: if you judge a thread to be a garbage-producer, don't respond. Then you don't produce garbage. And you don't encou...

What's really interesting is that the best performance seems to be a Democrat president with a Republican congress.
It's almost like that thing I keep saying about "changing the rules" and "pushing through an agenda" being bad for the economy actually has some basis in fact.

If you're tuning him out, just tune him out.
If you want to make claims about what he actually means, you have to take responsibility as a listener.
You can't both tune him out and claim to know what he really meant based on a tiny snippet.

The AI in coop gets confused sometimes -- different bots will be controlled by different players' systems, and sometimes a bot will be locked on to your teammate and will completely ignore you. It's something we'd like to fix, but it's not top priority right now.
