wow, this has to be the best playing version of d2x ever.... the only problem im seeing so far is that once the game is started, i cant get back to the menus, the game hangs if i hit f2 or escape to go back to change any settings....

most athlon xp's that i've had couldnt go over 60c with out causing problems. one of them was a 1200... it ran in the mid 60's under a full load and it didnt last more than 2 years...

hmmm, it didnt work... i got x and y axix, but nothing on the twist.

just got d2 reinstalled and my having trouble getting my precision pro joystick to be recognised by d2x. I got the latest build off of the d2x site, and while it looks good and the hat works great... the regular controls (x,y and twist) wont properly calabrate :( I'm currently using the stick in usb...

I heared they are totally redoing their opengl drivers. I wouldn't hold my breath on this one....this was said when i first bought my 97009lets see, how long has the 9700 been out???), i waited over a year and finally sold it about 6 or 7 months ago when each driver for it seemed to only get worse....

yes, my processor is an anthlon 64....i dont believe win64 will even load if you try installing it on a 32bit processor.

I've found most of the device drivers i need to run it except for my raid controller.... i cant load it till i find that one(unless i take my raid config apart).

Anyone happen to know if Ide raid has been fixed in win xp. Currently the only fix for getting decent performance was to convert the disks over to dynamic disks..... which i can't do with the home version of winxp:(

My beef with renting songs is just the fact that mediaplayer 10 enables online merchants to rent songs so they play only few times or for a certian amount of time...
I can think of better things to do with my hardrive space...

I tried the medial play 10 beta a while back... didnt care for the extra bloat(it was actually slower than version 9) and the links to buy/rent online music is just unnessary.

definitly stick with the 6800, benches of ps3.0 show it will speed up the card by around 15% over ps2.0 putting it well in the lead over ati's card....

Throw in ati's wonderful driver support :roll: and i'd say you definitly cant go wrong with the 6800.

ahhh, xciter got the same bug as me...for the most part it seems to work ok exzcept the dhcp not renewing automatically. For me, when i renew it manually, i get 1 hour, if i click it a second time, it will then give me 24hours.... Jmeat, go ahead and patch as long as you have a working firmware back...

I hope so, since sp2 locked me out, i reinstalled my legal verson.... however since then i've changed out my 8x dvd rom and 40x cd-rw out for a 16x dvd rom and a dvd-rw, and i added a diffrent sound card. If it is still as strict as before... i'll find out soon enough.
