mine came with the SP already installed, i tried it too, says it doesnt need it. i tried a Trial of CyberLink Power DVD 13 , and the disc works fine

i remember reading about that...... cant remember if it was LG or Lite-On though.... they somehow embedded a window popup that every time you cycled the tray, a window would pop up on your display, but get this....... it wasnt Autoplay.... they actually disabled that with the firmware it was an AD!!...

Gren, if i disable EIST will Turbo Mode still work? my 3770K defaults to 1.6 when idle. but id like to keep it higher than 1.6

yup, same here....Krom we own our modem, DOCSIS 3 and pushing about 103d/20.06u without the bottlenecked 100mbit router and wireless. dont worry, soon as i have the extra $$$ im gonna get a gigabit network hooked up.

thing about my neighborhood and comcast........ im1 of only 32 people on the node. we bumped to Comcast extreme 50, recently, only to have the Tier Doubling effect take place 2 weeks later at no extra cost, now im Comcast Extreme 100/20. and holy shiznit!!!

the modem uses all 4 up channels right now, giving us about 20Mb Up. but even with the gigabit network if all we can see is about 80-90 then i guess no need for upgrading. we'll just have to sit at the max of the 100 Mb network. ill toy with the idea for a bit. sorry i THOUGHT it was all 4 channels....

i was given a E6500 with a M6600 board in it and a C2Q CPU, i bumped the mem to 4GB, and loaded a 320 GB HDD with Win7 64Bit Pro. it has the NVidia chipset and its wonderful...... how did i get it, had a broken screen and the person didnt want it anymore since they got a new lappy to replace it. soo...
