Foil: Like I said, see Autobahn . Or this: http://www.ibiblio.org/rdu/sl-irrel.html There's less chance of a slip up if everyone drives at the same speed together, or if people are properly using their lanes. Slow traffic keep right == fast traffic keep left. Don't change lanes without a good reason...

On my car I can pull 30 MPG while doing 65 on the SSEi. It really depends on how the car and engine is built. I dont support lowering the speed limit. Instead we should educate drivers. If you want to drive slow, great. Stick in the right lane. Everyone else use the left lane ONLY for passing. This ...

Re:
I'd say government-funded research into designing solar-powered cars and supply the plans to major car producers would be the best move now IMO, considering that most of the panic about a lack of oil is for cars. And the sooner the better, because forcing a change in fuel source for aviation is goi...

That looks alot like a bull mastiff. My uncle had one when I was a very small kid. Everyone freaked out because I used to stick my whole arm in his mouth, but he was just being gentle and was playing with me. Id ride him like a horse and id try to pull his bone from out of his mouth. Everyone freake...

Re:
There aren't many parts of your computer you wouldn't have to replace within 5 years anyway. Even monitors don't always last that long. That statement is nonsense. I have monitors that are 8+ years old and are still working like they are supposed to. I reused a power supply on a rebuild several mon...

The larger birds (with the bigger brains, obviously, larger than a cockatiel's) CAN be trained to poop on command, say over a garbage can. Of course, they have bigger poops than cockatiels. :P You can also get a 'birdie diaper', but unless you train the bird while its young with it, it will just get...

Thank you for your kind words. The emotional cost of going through a death of a pet is too high, so I think were done with birds or pets of any kind. Im a bird guy so I love them, but I think from now on ill just enjoy them from a distance, maybe visit the pet shop once in a while just to observe a ...

Last week on Sunday I uncovered the bird cage (we have a pet cockatiel named Boomer for almost 2 years) to discover blood at the bottom of the cage. At first we thought he ate some berries since there was some in his food and on close examination we really couldn't find anything wrong. Then Tuesday ...

WTB: Laptop for ~$100
Im looking to help relieve someone of a laptop that they may not be using anymore and collecting dust. Im not intending to play games on it, I just need basic mobile computing to do basic programming and automotive diagnostics. As long as it can hold a charge, has a CD drive, and I can one way or an...

ok, thanks. I am assuming it to be a semi-brainless action/graphic flick, but there exists the possibility of it being done well, if they put some thought into it. I was hoping it wasn't just another steaming pile of Transformers. That was a great example of how not to make a movie. I thought Trans...
