Only ammo weapons will cause any damage to him. Energy weapons have no effect.

He's not that difficult once you figure that out :P. The Level 16 boss also has this trait.

phpBB comes with a visual confirmation mod. If you don't have any other mods installed, I suggest you install that thing. It will stop the bots from registering.

I do believe there's one flaw with the part you mention about UDP/IP, though I've not tried this myself. I've been told that due to the way it works (using multicast UDP), that it can't be used over the Internet.

E-mail confirmation won't stop registration. But they can't use the accounts otherwise.

There is a mod included with phpBB for that, but if you've got mods installed, you might have a difficult time installing it.

You're getting spambots registering on your boards. You can generate an authorization code via images and require the user to enter said code upon registration. That will stop them from registering altogether and make you not have to delete their accounts.

Both systems are Windows 2000, so that's a non-issue for me. Visual Studio .NET is also installed on both, but I have to reinstall it on my laptop to proceed (it starts, and then shuts off a few seconds later).

Because I'm not sure when I'll get all these edited and posted to PD, I've uploaded the unedited pages to my own website for now, so people can use them.

Please note that the connection is only a 16KB/s upstream connect, so don't expect it to be fast :P.

Remote Debugging (VC++.NET)

I've been attempting to attach a debugger remotely to FS2_Open (a community revision project for FS2), but when I look at the Debug Process option, I don't see an option to switch to another computer. The Help is referring to items that are not present as well. Anyone know what the heck I need to do...

And the crash dump he posted looks like a DOS 4GW generated dump, which says that he IS running the DOS version.

All systems in the NT core have this 2GB limit. Of the 4GB, the system allocates 2GB for itself (maximum) and 2GB for programs. At least that's what I remember reading.
