I don't think it requires deep discussion, the bottom line here is that people (mainly Americans) are too oversensitive and uptight, and thats all it really is.

Re: Looking for 1000' rolls of RG-6 siamese.

Belden cable has 6db more loss in it at 1000mhz than commscope cable does. All copper ain't all its cracked up to be, I know this from experience. But if you're using this for security cams, you're not doing anything above 50mhz anyway, usually. Some of your runs will be 1000ft? How are you getting ...

Relax Ferno, I'm not suggesting he use that page as the add bible. The fact that she doesn't take insurance pretty much says don't buy anything from her. My point was that the first part of the article was pretty spot on.

Perhaps this will be more to your liking:

I was probably 13 or 14, and it was for ADHD, which is what the diagnosis for children usually is. At the time, they believed I would grow out of it, well, sorry to say, that never happened. You grow out of the H as you get older, but not the rest. I actually went off my meds when I turned 18 (partl...

Re: Attention Defect Disorder (ADD)

I have ADD, and when I was first put on medication, the difference was huge. I went from struggling to get C and B grades to very easily having nearly all high A's.

A good deal of that page describes it very well, but only a doctor can diagnose & prescribe a treatment.

Are you wanting two coax's or a coax and a (single)twisted pair for powering? Are you going to be running through any airways used for cold-air return, or going through any firebreaks? Because if so, you'll need plenum cable and fire caulk, which drive up cost. You might talk to the plant manager of...

Re: New Car input

Guzzle? My Grand Caravan averages 26mpg highway. Though I can't argue on a truck or suv, but the mid-size pickups, if you get them with their larger engines, actually don't do too bad because the engine doesn't have to work as hard to pull the truck. But even at that, you probably wouldn't do better...

Your problem with limited slots is most of your tv tuner cards are either Total Digital, or Analog/ClearQam. But not both. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815706001 That will give you 4 total digital tuners (need the cable card). But if you still have analog channels, you'll ne...

Depends on your usage I guess. I've kindof migrated away pc support in the last 3-5 years, only keeping up as much as necessary (not enough free time with 3 kids to stay on it hardcore) I cut my electric bill by 1/3 when I started shutting off my machines.
