I have a DIR-655 too and it beats out the newer Cisco (Linksys) models hands down. Last few models of Cisco for consumer are awful compared to the earlier models. *The formats you listed are all inferior to the VGA cable. If your projector has HDMI we should try using that. There are a ton of options including running HDMI audio and video over one RG6.
