A Preying Mantis will actually change color to match its surroundings. Set it in a jar with a bunch of green leafs and it will turn back green.

Oh, and they will bite, if you piss it off.

Mine represents my online gaming team, which has grown beyond my expectations. When I was 17, if you had told me it would still be in operation 14 years later, and in fact flourishing, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

Kinda Disappointing..

I had an AIW 9600 card laying about, and some spare parts, and an old hp. Well, long story short, after much tinkering, I got drivers to install under Windows 7, WMC finally saw it and programmed all the channels, however... all I get is audio, the video gives me a low bit rate error and states that...

Unfortunately, most providers (dish and cable alike) cannot offer channels ala-cart. First because the technology just hasn't been there, altho its now available, implementing it is easier said than done because Congress has given the broadcasters and the Programmers (the people who make the TV chan...

Pay attention to your modem if your internet connection drops, if you have 4 solid green lights, then your modem is online, the problem will be on your side of the modem. Keep an eye on those levels in the signal screen though, if any of the numbers change significantly, then there is a problem, and...

If yes = BAD MODEM

If No = BAD ROUTER

The downstream power level is a bit low, but still well within spec, it will work down to -12 (range is about -15 to +15) or so, but your transmit power at 46 is perfect, still you have 6db to play with. Go to 192.168.100.1, which should bring up your cable modems internal page, you are on the motorola modem now? Goto the signal page and post the information on that page here.

Any particular reason you're running through two routers? or is the wireless just an AP?

If either of you had tried w7 yet, you would know its rock solid. They haven't rushed this one, and its not nearly as annoying as vista.

Having said that, if everything is running fine in XP, I'd just wait until you do your next build to get w7. Its not like its the holy grail or anything.

Basicly, make sure they're on the same workgroup, and make sure you have a folder shared, and if you are running a firewall like zonealarm, make sure your local area IP's are in your trusted zones or it'll shut you down before you even start.
