Fusion Charge/MD Zoom Solution for Windows 64 bit

Here is how I got my mouse to charge fusion properly using X-Mouse Button v1.50 ( http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMou ... ontrol.htm )

My system:
Windows 7 64-bit
Logitech G5 Mouse
Keyboard

Step by step guide:
1. Install X-Mouse v1.50 at http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMou ... ontrol.htm
2. In X-Mouse main screen, click on Settings at the bottom left. Select \"Bypass all options when SCROLL LOCK is ON\"
3. Return to the main screen and select Left Button, then select Simulated Keystrokes.
4. Enter a keyboard key to map to the primary fire function in Descent 3. I use 'k.' Next for 'How to send the simulated key strokes:' select During (Press on Down, Release on Up)
5. Select Apply on the main screen of X-Mouse. Press the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard if not already on.
6. Start up Descent 3. If you haven't mapped 'k' (or whatever you use) as the primary fire button on the keyboard, then do so now.
7. Press Scroll Lock in game to turn on the X-Mouse settings.
8. Enjoy!

Now this looks interesting...

Should work for MD zooming too.

Wait the title of the thread said that...

Who uses zoomed MD anyway, Alter-Fox? =P I used this program for about 3 hours last night, and I expect it will get quite a bit more use since my joystick is at home.

Also, I should add that X-Mouse works on ALL platforms of windows--it's just that none of the other programs like PPJoy, Pie, and Key2Joy work on 64-bit platforms. As a matter of fact, I could never get any of the other programs to work even on 32 bit windows, but this program is much more intuitive :) Also, I'm pretty sure there are more nifty things to do than just fix the fusion bug, like map the mouse's side wheel bar to functions in D3. I don't believe D3 recognizes that mouse function normally.

Very nice, thanks!
Works on Windows XP 32bit like a charm!

Are you jealous you didn't jump on it first?

Why would I \"jump on it first\" when I don't even play D3 regularly?

<strike>There any other way to make it without the use of scroll lock? I don't have a scroll lock key D: (Dell Inspiron 1750)</strike> Resolved

Never mind, I found an old wireless keyboard of mine I thought I got rid of ages ago :>

I did it without any Scroll lock use - just created config only for main.exe

Well I fixed the issue. But the damn program won't stay closed!

I tried even restarting the computer. It'll open upon boot, keep opening randomly on me. It's a pain in the ass if you use your computer for anything other then descent >:/ Trying to find a way to fix it.

This sounds strange. I have no idea what happens.
I've uploaded screens with settings - may be it will help somehow?!

Yeah, the issue was not separating MAIN.exe from Default. As shown in the first picture >< Thanks though! The program works really well, btw. 8D

Not needed, because it's in the \"bugfixes\" thread.

o cool ^_^

You should unsticky the penis joy thread because it's already in bug fixes.
