If you can get online, but are having trouble accessing PXO, then you can download *ALL* D1, D2, and D3 levels at PlanetDescent. Here's the link to the D3 levels:

There is a 120 level mission pack on the d3 part of my site that you can download, these are 120 of the most played levels today, here's a direct link, it's about 120 megs so consider this a warning :P

But no CD's that I am aware of at least at this time.

There are Gigs ob Levels...So they won't fit on a CD. Maybe on 3 or 4 or so...

I don't think "gigs" is quite right. The last I ever heard, there were about 500 megs of Descent maps. The only really large ones are the singleplayer maps, which are few and far between, and even those are about 10 megs tops. The rest are usually sub-400KB.

I have 627 D3 Missions zipped up in 560 Megs; that was a relatively complete collection as of six months ago.

okay..checked my mission directory: 625 files at 1,3 gig (unzipped and many SP-levels) but I have a second mission directory just for collecting purposes..hehe.. so maybe there are about 700 levels on my hdd.

I think this is a cool idea though. Provided you have a little installer/unzipper program, you could compile a bunch of missions together as on ISO and distribute it free o' charge.

I think back when I played D3 regularly I had something like 430 megs of levels, so I imagine theres like 800 or so worth now, and thats just multiplayer.

All i need is a server to access the maps, preferably sorted by single and multi if possible, then i can make 1 or 2 ISO files then upload it to, fileplanet or something.
