Descent Champions Ladder

Post by Lothar » Sat Aug 24, 2013 3:54 pm

D1 required, D2/D3 optional. One on one matches, play to 20, win by 2.

Read the rest of the rules so you know what you're getting in to. And then come play.

Looks like you folks put a lot of thought into it. Very cool.

If you don't still have your old Descent directory or disks around, you can buy it from http://www.gog.com/game/descent_1_descent_2

Once you have a basic D1 install, you can get the current mod from http://www.dxx-rebirth.com/ .

Then get the actual currently recommended game version from http://descentchampions.org/forum/viewt ... p?f=4&t=58 (running improved netcode, fixed homing missiles, etc.)

Oooh, I seriously hope you come and play with us all, Birdseye. That would be awesome.

Behemoth and I were just talking about you. He says you didn't appreciate the broken net code when you played in April. You'll be happy to know it's fixed now.

Send me a note with what you think is broken about mouse control, maybe I can look into that, too.
