How to destroy Ice Boss in DII? Did u destroy it as easy or hard? It firing Super Flash Missile and Homing Big White Balls. I really hate that damn boss. I tried to dodge and use Afterburner to away its homing weapons. But Ice Robot turning is so fast. @_@

Cloaks break the tracking of homing weapons.

You will, however, need to keep moving somewhat regardless, because bosses can still dumb-fire them. And you'll have to lay in the fire as fast as humanly possible...

Well, maybe not. It was actually fairly easy for me to kill it well within 30 seconds with only Gauss and Mercury Missiles - but high damage output weapons are a must. They also have to be matter weapons - the boss is invulnerable to energy weapons.

The advantage of using the guass is that it keeps the boss off guard. It makes it more difficult to aim at you.

Yes, those types of bosses/enemies with homing flash missiles are some of the most annoying.

Gauss Cannon and Mercury Missile? -_- Sure? Ok, I'll try it. I think Gauss Cannon and Mercury Missile are great to destroy any robots and bossies. Right? But Mercury can be easy empty. >_<

Quad Laser Cannon is my favorite weapon.

If you don't want to use up your mercs you can try it with Gauss alone, but it will probably take you quite a bit longer (Mercs do something crazy like 60 damage a hit, which does add quite a bit).

Quad lasers are highly efficient weapons, but they unfortunately don't work on this boss.

It might only be 50ish, but I seem to recall seeing somewhere that they will take off over half your shields in a single hit.

This is your mercs, of course. Robot mercury missiles are quite a bit weaker.

Well, I played D3.
I tried to destroy Hellion Boss with Napalm Gun, Cyclone Missiles, Napalm Rockets, Mega Missiles, and BlackShark Missiles. But it killed me too much times! X_x

Reverse Anti-Virus, Quad Lasers, then Vauss Cannon for Super Theft Bot Boss.

Quad Lasers or not, Concussion Missiles for Homunculus.

OD-9 Dragon is dumb, easy to destroy it in its belly. it can't attack me by lower and its side.

Are there better way to destroy them with there weapons?

I destroyed Ice Boss with Gauss and Mercury! Now it's easy! Those weapons are good for bossies. Thanks guys!
But D3 doesn't has Mercury Missile... T_T

Actually, D3 does have the Mercury missile... but it may be called something else AND you typically don't get to have it.

There is a bot (typically seen first when you go to the canyons on Mars), it's really easy to kill (one laser shot), and it shoots Mercury missiles at you.

The regular D3 missions never give you that missile.

Yeah, Mercs are too easy to kill a robot in DII. But Hard to hit...

Level 20 boss, I think those weapons doesn't effect on that fastest boss. 'Cuz that level boss has same my current weapons!

The level 20 boss is invulnerable to Vulcan/Gauss so you gotta use energetic weapons, Phoenix wears him down pretty fast. Mercuries do damage him but far less than Smart Missiles e.g.

I know because it makes this \"you're hitting something invulnerable\" sound when you hit the boss with these weapons.
