Hair cut

Post by Isaac »

I normally go and pay to have my hair cut, but I'm toying with the idea of starting to do it on my own... this could end bad for me, so I was wondering how many of you actually bother cutting your own hair with your own hands. How do you cut the back evenly? Two mirrors?

I cut my own hair, but I wear a pony tail, so it’s easy.

I tried to give myself a layer haircut once when I was about 20...lol

Normally pay for it myself, but it's been quite a while since the last time so the expense isn't a big deal.

When I had hair down to my shoulders, I paid to get it cut. Now I usually just buzz it myself a few times a year.

Ponytail here as well. Rarely needs to be cut.

I usually do most of it, and my wife blends the layers.

But I my brother and brother in law both cut their own hair, and do a nice job.

Normally go out to have someone else cut my hair.

Made the mistake once in the last 2 or 3 years or so of cutting it myself. Shaved my head for the summer but I missed a triangle at the very top back of my head that I just couldnt see... someone else pointed it out to me.

DOH!

Never again will I attempt to cut my own hair!

I should clarify that when I *do* cut my hair (not often, as it's back in a ponytail 95% of the time), I am most definitely not the one to do it. I've tried the self-cut and the friend-cut, and it just doesn't look as good when I let the hair down.

I have a friend of mine who owns her own hair salon cut it for me. She does a terrific job. She's just about the only one who can cut it right. For me, having a good haircut makes the difference between looking good and looking bad.

I'd never even think of trying to cut it myself.

i just gave myself a #1 last week.
It's about 5mm long.
Such a short cut unfortunately shows up my strangely bumpy head, the brains want to get out.

My hair is ultra thick though, it's my amazing mutant power that allows short haircuts without looking bald.
