It barely changes.

- Apps are openbox, tint2-svn (AUR), xfce4's terminal, xterm for the alsamixer, and xcompmgr-git (AUR) for transparency.
- GTK+ theme is a tweaked gtk-theme-lucidity (AUR) so the text is black instead of gray/faded.
- Icon theme is humanity-icon-theme (AUR).
- Font for terminal is \"Fixed 8\".
- Font for most windows is \"Tahoma 8\".

Assembly Language... I like it!

:)

This is the desktop image on one of my work PC's... It's my 16 year old daughter... she'll be 17 in mid-march 2011:

Why...
I tend to multitask a lot between my 3 PC's at once and like to keep an eye on everything all at once. Not a fan of minimized windows or windows behind windows bogging down a system, with this system I divide system resource and maximize my efficiency.

As for the lack of the Enterprise-D from TNG, I could not find a similar wire frame image of it to fit into my theme

I am using one of my fav wallpapers Bubbalou made for The DXX-Rebirth project, which is the best Descent Project I beta tested for and still do that, as I kinda helped Zico with beta testing the new UDP code the past year that has added to the package :)

Well, I'm embarrassed. i use the computer heaps, so you can barely see the background for all the clutter. I will post it when I've cleaned it up.

mine's prettier.

edit:

I also changed my menu to be closer to windows, where it's all off a "start button".

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

It all runs really smooth and fast. I use a little bit of compiz to smooth the menu actions out. It's sweet.

Funny, I try to make my system as different from windows/mac/etc. mainstream desktops as possible.

I'm playing with the idea of trying out awesome instead of openbox. I don't know that I want to give up my openbox pipe menus, though.

I decided to make my laptop wallpapers change automatically, here are some samples:

first (Entire Team is Kirby!)-
Image

Second (Sap this, Spy!)-
Image

Third (an awesome Transformers: War For Cybertron wallpaper)-
Image

Fourth (an old wallpaper that I used for years)-
Image

Fifth (Lilformers)-
Image

and finally, this one with the Timberwolf (or Madcat to you InnerSphere Surats!)-
Image

(the first and second Wallpapers (that I found) can be found here-
http://wall.alphacoders.com/index.php?s ... rtress%202)

I used this nifty freeware utility called "Any Wallpaper", to randomize my wallpaper automatically

Bee- note that Djc's link leads to the original of that image.

My desktop changes regularly.... not on a schedule, but I have a script to randomly pick from database.

Deviantart- that's a whole ton of crap on it, and a few good images here and there. If you pick through it, you can find some gems.

Agree...

Too many stupid Sonic art kids drew (styles look repetitive)... Kids created too many same groups... There a lot of trolls in the drama site... Message Inbox has an issue.

But I still use the site for my works.
