I don't use dropbox. If I had to and it wasn't available, I'd run an FTP server instead.

One time a friend wanted me to use Dropbox for some collaboration and I was like "what the crap do I need this for? I have a server? and there is no Linux version anyway." So yeah, never used it. At work there are a few people that send me links to personal archives of reference materials, but that's about my entire Dropbox experience.
