Pushing Faces

Post by JohnnnY »

Hey I'm in the middle of making a room and I saw the extruding tutorial on gameedit which was nice but I'm having a problem doing this one thing. I made a bunch of faces but I dunno how to push them together. How could I do this? Do i gotta mark the face and click on something? I dunno.. heh

I don't know what you mean by "pushing" them together. But, if you want to move a bunch of faces, you need to go into Face Mode and then click and mark each one. Then, you can use the numpad to move them around.

In D3, you don't push them. You REmove them completely. In D1/D2 you join faces but in D3 no. You would make ajoining points the same. (you "snap" them) then remove the faces left over.

There, ur right Kyouryuu. I just had to mark all of the faces for that extruded face and move it together with the numpad, and then delete the faces that didnt have to be used. Thanks.
