I've decided to release the 2 level demo of Black Prophecy XL (no briefing or secret levels yet!).

I'm still working on the 3 secret levels and the other levels

As for the features (when it's done), here they are:
-some robots with better detailing
-3 secret levels
-a sub-boss
-better looking levels (with extra rooms)
-several changes on the robot's stats and the readme file
-Original Soundtrack (Courtesy of AlterFox. Thanks man!)
-Briefing
-end credits

(the original Black Prophecy level set was started on late 2005 and released in June 2007

It looks really nice! I like the changes you made to level 1.

I've got to level 4 so far (interesting sub-boss idea, btw). The starting room for level 3 had some really cool structure, and I liked the room with the \"static\" falling from the ceiling on top of a rock.

I haven't found the secret level yet (I'm not sure custom music for secret levels is still supported, it may have been taken out when D2X-XL started to require playlists). I found the secret exit on level 3 though :P.

The first secret exit is located in the front secret door after going throught the red door. the secret door (not teleporter) on the left contains a switch to unlock the secret door to the secret teleporter. And let me know what you think of the first secret level.

BTW, the static is acutally little fragments of snow.

worklog, bp-date 6/15/2010 (Sorry, I have to reference Startrek for no reason):
I've made some major changes to Level 2 as of Details and Triggers,
here are some screenshots of the blue key's room:

As for the triggers-
within the area near the brig, you have to destroy 2 guarding Ocelots in order to open the prison wall.
-and-
Once you rescue the hostages, it'll set off the \"security\" alarms and open walls for both the matcen (that I added) near the brig entrance and the wall within the brig that leads to the switch to the yellow key.

The sounds are out of synce due to the recording trying to keep up with my laggy gameplay

I hope Dizzyrox, Novacron, and few others who made the D2X-XL hi-res textures doesn't mind if I modify the textures to match each of the descent 2 palette's texture colors (for example the hi-res floor water is GroupA, but for water palette levels, I made it match the 'water palette' water. I hope I won't get into sooo much trouble for this. :away:

And I made a few of my own Hi-res textures for the mission.
