I need to get something out of my system.

So I built a level :)

It's a small (about half the size of Damage) Anarchy/Hoard level named Forge thats designed for 2 to 4 players.

This is my first level that's really small enough for a fast 1 on 1 match. The weapons load may be a *tad* on the heavy side for such a small level though so I'd suggest pros use least a 60 second respawn for serious 1 on 1 matches.

The only mod is Hostiles D2-style plasma cannon.

I'll be running a couple servers for a few days, but I'm not sure how long I'll be able to keep them up. Several of the auto-download links are working already, or you can download it from here.

Finally, here are a couple screenshots to whet your appetite.

The automap view:

Enjoy.

Yup, typical Otherone level, excellent work as always! Never get tired of the see through water texture.

I hate you people. You make me want to map. But time makes it so I can't. You torture me with your incredibly awesome levels. Ack! :P

Very interesting layout. The whole thing looks great. It's very creative. I actually don't think the weapon layout is too heavy. It seems fairly balanced. The thing that looks like a boiler is awesome and the room divided in half by pipes is also very cool. Nice touch.

here's the "but"

...but for my taste, the level is way too small. I keep seeing the same areas over and over and over. Some change in scenery would be nice. Also, the dogfight rooms are oddly shaped, and make it hard to have good shoot-outs.

From my piont of view, it's like damage, only not quite as cool, and alot smaller. I'm not saying I don't like the level. I think it's better than most things out there, but I just liked damage so much better.
