I am not experiencing any of the problems you guys are having. My only complaint is that the CD track does not stop playing when it cues to the cutscenes.

Anyway, I need your help again. Im at level 20, and this guy has a gauss and mercury missles. The level 16 boss is a cinch compared to this hulk. I fired 3 Earthshakers, several megas all with a generous shot of Phoenix, and he still wont go down. Any suggestions? From my last playthrough (over 4 years ago or more!) I remember that I need to save everything I got before I go into the next series of levels since one level doesnt even have an energy center! I remember it being a total ★■◆● from here on out.

I believe that boss of level 20 is only harmed by material weapons, not energy. I could be wrong though. As for the last four levels, you're right, they are some of the worst in terms of difficulty and level 23 has NO energy center and if you die in the reaction blast, come to the final level, 24, with no weaponry at all, NOT A GOOD IDEA! lol

Only for that first bit. ;) After he's done with the gnats, its pretty much smooth sailing from then. The only real "challenge" (note the quotes) is the boss...but only if you play on hotshot or higher.

Beat the game in Ace. It was pritty cool. Next couple of years I play this again its going to be the highest level. :P It showed me as taking 12 hours to beat it, though I know it took me MUCH longer than that. Mayby twice as much. I abuse the save/reload feature often. :P

not really, I've noticed that a glitch in the time system of Descent 2 is that if you enter the SAME secret level more than once across several levels, the hour mark resets to zero. That's probably what happened. Interplay wouldn't have found this glitch because they never got in a situation to test one secret level spread out over 24 levels nor did they have a need to. lol

The L12 Boss in The Apocolyptic Factor is one heck of a boss. I mean, he's a Monster(Meaning Tough)!

The bosses in the Apocolypic Factor are Tough, trust me.
