Yes, I think Descent Development would have been a better match.

Nice model, keep up the good work. You may want to check out Pyromania 1.5g, it also contains a hi-poly Pyro-GX.

Edit: doh -- for D2 not D3, shame on skimming me :)

Yeah, that's not bad work at all. Not really 'high-polygon' these days, but still. Descent 2 has problems with them past a certain point, as I'm sure you are aware. :)

Incidentally, my level 'Moss Clutch' (which is on Stealth's website... http://www.stealthshangar.com/hotspot.html) also has a custom ship, but it's much more wacky than that. :)
