Tips for getting joystick to work!!

Post by Teddy »

just got d2 reinstalled and my having trouble getting my precision pro joystick to be recognised by d2x. I got the latest build off of the d2x site, and while it looks good and the hat works great... the regular controls (x,y and twist) wont properly calabrate :( I'm currently using the stick in usb, will it make a diffrence if i use the gameport?

How did you guys get this to work?

Do you have a gamepad or anything plugged in at the same time?

I had that problem before. I think it has to do with any HID complaint systems devices installed on your system. Some joysticks and gamepads use this. Check your device manager and remove any HID compliant devices to see if that works.
Good luck.
