Is there a way to force it to host on a particular port? For people like myself behind an NAT router, it kinda helps to be able to predict what port you need to forward. :)

Not yet, but I can change that. The current server port ist 28342, plus/minus the port offset you can chose in the player list w/ pgup/pgdown.
