Getting Descent 1 and/or 2

Any place I could download either of these games, the full version, with them being able to work with my config?

You download the d2x or d2x-xl executables, which are compatible with Descent 2, but not the Descent 2 data. Get the game on ebay.

Get a copy of Kali, connect to the ->Descent<- server, ask around, somebody will give you a zip/rar file with everything you need.
