\"Shader support\" is a subject 500 miles wide.

I will not add specular maps or so. I don't even know what that is.

Hires models need to be in OOF format.

The Hi-res models can be built in D3Edit, then converted to OOF files in OOF Edit. Both are separate downloads and can be found on PlanetDescent.com

But then, the question would be, what would you do from there? Would you edit the HXM or edit the OOF? I don't know the answer to this...

Heya d3jake,

You can still post suggestions here, but if you really want Diedel to add your idea/s.
I'd suggest posting it at the SourceForge.net/D2X-XL site under the Feature Requests section.

This thread is more of a discussion of suggestion and features for D2X-XL.

Diedel is requesting that all suggestions or features request to be posted at the SF.net site.

Thanks. :)

Ah, my mistake, I guess I didn't see that he wanted requests there too, my mistake.

np. I noticed that SF.net offers a feature request tracker too, and it's nice to have them neatly ordered in a list as well; helps not to forget any.

I am having OGG/MP3 support in the back of my head for months now. It's just that it's a bit of a bigger change to the program, and there's stuff with higher priority (bugs).
