No longer the adult in the room...

What a shame. Many people had hoped John Kelly would be the stabilizing influence that was sorely needed within the Trump White House. Sadly, that no longer appears to be the case. Kelly now seems to be an active participant in the prosecution of Trump's culture war. Either he's been corrupted, or was corrupt all along and all it took was Trump to bring out the worst in him. Trump's influence seems to do that to even the best of people too.

unless, what really is going on is a quasi-coup, and Kelly has struck a bargain in which Trump does what HE wants, and he plays along with the political stupidity. It really was disappointing to hear the Civil War stupidity and the attack on the Congresswoman in quick succession.

It's either that or Trump emits the usual bully parasitic morphic field that results in an unavoidable case of brown nosing, bootlicking and sycophantism whenever someone gets anywhere near him. In fact, it's so strong, all he has to do is speak and it works on those who are susceptible to such stupidity. :P
