and, when you get to the security aspects of this Porter fellow's tenure in the inner circles of the White House, you really have another sheer competency question.

cat got your tongue, Woody? Nightshade, no counternarrative smokescreen? How come the dreaded FBI was completely IGNORED when they told the White House that Porter would not get security clearance? Why was this guy ALLOWED to hold his position for so much as one hour? Why would Kelly fight to keep him?? How the feck should we be trusting this bunch of incompetent clowns to do 'extreme vetting' of immigrants and refugees, when they can't identify a security risk when WARNED BY THE FBI about him?? Oh, and before some misogynist says, "why is domestic violence a security risk?", it's called blackmail, when there are photos extant.

So ok, I’m confused…how can something that is not a secret be used for blackmail?

Blackmailer:
“Betray your country or I will tell everyone you beat up women.”

Wifebeater:
“Go ahead…everyone already knows.”

because it wasn't public until this week. Now, mind you, there may have been a lot MORE to why the FBI denied clearance. Time will tell. You alright with giving access to folks who fail to get security clearance?

The FBI better revoke Trump's security clearance then. He's got blackmail written all over him.

Oh, and there's this. Jared Kushner don't need no stinking security clearance either, according to Trump. He's family and that makes it safe for him to have access to classified material, despite the fact that he CAN'T GET a security clearance because of guess what? Previously omitted contacts with Russians.

Makes one wonder how many people and staffers are allowed to float around the White House with easy access to classified national secrets who DON'T have a security clearance. Hillary's private server escapade is starting to look almost plebeian in comparison.

Tsk, tsk. So sloppy with classified documents and secrets around family and friends, the very same people who happen to be unable to get security clearances. Makes one wonder WHY Kushner himself can't GET a security clearance? What's he done with all his foreign entanglements and business deals that's SO BAD that the FBI won't issue him one? What say you Woody? I thought national security and protecting it was your bailiwick. This sloppiness on Trump's part makes Hillary's little server boo boo look downright plebeian in comparison.

And Trump is flipping the bird towards his own White House Chief of Staff's changes and recommendations that were put in place because the Porter security clearance/wife beater scandal.

This isn't good. Some of this Trump WH staff security clearance mess can be partially blamed on Obama. But leave it to an arrogant prick like Trump to take a mile when he was only given an inch.

I just have to wonder how Obama would of held up under similar scrutiny. I think not very well.

he had assholes investigating his ★■◆●ing birth certificate. For a man with ZERO hint of criminal behavior, both before holding office and after, he was investigated and maligned by jerks like you and held up just fine. Made most of the nation rather proud how he did, actually. Maybe the Trump scrutiny is directly proportionate to the level of criminal activity. We're easily talking racketeering, money laundering, bank fraud and conspiracy to obstruct justice. The only questions left are going to be around how intentional any cooperation or subsequent actions were, and whether we're talking sedition, abuse of power or outright treason, for which others have been executed.

Maybe the scrutiny was directly proportional to the level most of the newsies were in the bag for Obama. If it weren't for kiss asses like you Obama would of been out of office for gun running at the very least, Targeted assassination of the leader of Libya at the most. And throw race baiting in between.

Obama never got a pass for Libya. He even called it one of the "worst mistake" of his presidency. At least he admitted his screwup. However, I seriously doubt that Trump would EVER admit his multitudinous mistakes. He either takes credit for the work of others, or blames others when the mistakes are clearly his own fault.

boy, you have ZERO contact with actual reality, do you?? Gun running? I suppose you are babbling about Fast and Furious, a George Bush idea. Libya, as you probably can find out, was a policy decision of NATA. As for race baiting, that is and has been the old white fools you represent doing that part, overtime. I have seen now 5 legal experts openly speculating about the investigation leading to actual TREASON charges. I would not, however, wish to see any members of the Trump family treated any worse than we treated the Rosenberg family if, indeed, US secrecy was compromised knowingly. Just treat them the same.

You'll notice that the Dems finally got their memo released, but it's so heavily redacted, we can't see all the juicy important stuff that Nunes conveniently left out of his memo in order to slant things in Trump's favor. Plus, there were NO instances of redacting in the Nunes memo, despite being warned by the FBI NOT to release it because it contained classified information. So the Republicans forced the Dems to play by the rules, while the Republicans ignored the rules all because it was more important to them to protect Putin's orange puppet then protect a national security related investigation. Trump isn't the only traitor here.
