can't edit post

i can't edit my post. it's a big post. in this thread

it tries for ages, and then just gives me the URL posting.php, with a blank white screen.
i tried to delete my post, so that i could just repost it in edited form. It gave me the \"are you sure?\" button, and after i pressed it the same thing happened: posting.php with a White screen.
*le-sigh*
Yet another DBB hiccup, i'm honestly getting quite sick of this crap. This thing is supposed to work. i'm not even sure why i'm posting this, it's not like this ★■◆● gets fixed: DBB Search hello?
edit: the delete seemed to finally work, and i was able to repost my comment in edited form. but why didn't it work when i wanted it to work? why couldn't i edit it? why wouldn't it delete properly?
why has the DBB been doing this for years?
