Random server timeouts?

Post by Tyranny »

Has anyone else noticed the DBB just stops responding all of a sudden? It almost acts as if it wants to do what it was doing months ago where the pages were all loading extremely slow. Instead though it just refuses to load period.

I keep checking to see if it is me, but everything else loads crystal so...*shrug*

Just thought I'd post to find out if anyone else has been having similar problems.

I get the same thing (i think), but it can last for hours with me. It sorta gets stuck at 34kb then refuses to continue. This has been going on for a while now. I'd explain more but my one year old is more of a techie than me.

I've encountered server slowdowns, but not any timeouts yet.

Speaking of which, what the hell caused that database error that knocked out the DBB for almost two days straight?

I'm not getting timeouts, but it is acting slower than usual - like what happens if I'm downloading a lot of stuff and trying to browse at the same time.

Heh, the server timed out on my end for a good ten minutes the other day. I could connect to the server, but thats it. It would just sit there until Mozilla timed out.

Yes, I've also had occasion where it just stops working. More often that that though, navigation just gets really slow. Can take up to a minute for a page to load. But then it goes back to normal.

Yeah, its been acting kinda...laggy, lately. Its not slow, it just takes a while to start moving, but when it moves its just as fast as always.

Just a few minutes ago, I had it start out normal, become very laggy for a minute or so, and then go back to normal.

Yeah, this is what I'm talking about. Sometimes it starts but is deada@$$ slow or other times it refuses to load at all. Then you try back several minutes later and it loads just like it usually does.

Browse for a bit looking at threads and then it starts lagging again. Atleast this eliminates it being on my end, I just wonder wtf is causing it.
