Just noticed this edit...

IIRC the reason was because it would require a lot of :effort: to code for weapon/shield carryovers in multiplayer so they just made it behave like any other multiplayer mode.

I think the fact that he was/is still working for free on a game he helped program a full eleven years ago is amazing enough. It certainly earns my respect.

You see, that's the problem. He ISN'T working on it. Otherwise we would have heard something from him.

Um...I did read everything in this folder, and my point stands. I was shocked as hell when I came back here after a hiatus and saw that Kevin had posted several times about work he had been doing. That isn't the sort of thing you expect in the gaming industry as a whole.

Yes, it's impressive. If you actually get results in your hands. Watching videos of what supposedly has been done just doesn't cut it after a few years -- having a carrot dangling for 10 years is pretty lame.
