When I put in a MS Office CD or Dragon in either drawer it will not ask if I want to install but only shows all the files. When I click on to the "exe" file the cursor spins for three or four minutes and then asks me if I want to install. Then the cursor starts to spin for about
Also I noticed that the icons start to populate after about 4 minutes.
Same CD asks if I want to install in another computer.
Now after 8 minutes or so it starts to install.
What's up? Both DVD-RW drives bad?

Installing. Got about a 1/6 in 20 minutes. Something is up.

Boot from a linux live CD (burn one with another computer if you don't have one), if it works fine ---> OS issues, if it doesn't work well or at all ---> hardware issues.
