Trouble networking computers

Post by thewolfe »

Just re-installed Win7 from scratch on my 2nd comp and now can't network folders.

I'm seeing all the folders on both computers but get "Windows cannot access......you do not have admin rights.

I've "Shared" them with permissions

In "Change sharing options all are "ticked" "on" except "Password Protect Sharing".

Both are "HomeGroup".

I've shutdown firewall on both computers

Do I have to go into Security under properties?

Got it!

Had to go in and add my "HomeGroup" Password. Found it under Control panel>Network & Internet>Homgroup and click on "View or print the Homegroup password".
