Looking at an LCD

Post by Vindicator »

A couple places (Staples, Best Buy) are having deals on the Samsung 914v this Friday. Staples has it for $200 after rebates, and I was wondering if anyone had any experiences with it or had opinions about it. Its hard to find any reviews about it online. Newegg carries a similar model, the 913v, with specs identical to it and many good reviews.

The main reason for this post is because I'm wondering if this is too good to be true. From reading the descriptions the only thing that stands out as a negative is the analog input. The 12ms response time is decent from what i hear. Thoughts? Should I run away screaming?

Samsung makes a good product dude. I'd say its definitely worth the risk. The only gripe I have with it is that it lacks a DVI connector.

I currently use a pair of 915n's myself and while they are a little faster at 8ms, I think you will be real happy with the 914's
