A stupid online petition: Stop Ashlee Simpson

Post by Lothar »

... with over 375,000 signatures so far.

I think that's the biggest stupid online petition I've ever seen, by far. Interesting commentary on Ashlee Simpson, that she's got such a large anti-following...

Jim Rome was talking about this a couple of months ago... he constantly plays the clip from the orange bowl (or whichever bowl game it was) where she ends her song with a gloriously terrible "you make me want to SCREEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMM!" and many people boo-ed.

hehe.

We are so sickened by her "performing" that we are taking this opportunity to demand that she stop.

hrm... then gee.. stop watching her?? Wow .. that was tough. LOL

Most people are bothered by her performances in shows/events not exclusive to her performance.

My only exposure to her was a funny video clip somebody posted of her getting ready to sing a song on Saturday Night Live, and she started dancing and singing to the wrong song (but her voice was coming through the speakers as singing the right song).

From what I understand, she performed at the Super Bowl and many other public events where people have been subjected to her horrid attempts to create "music"...

It wasn't the Superbowl lothar.
It was the Orange or Rose bowl. :)
