My personal vote would be on the 27th, since I get out of school the day before that, but I could work it in any Saturday night that people want. :)

My calendar says the 27th isn't Saturday... although the 28th is. That date would likely be okay with me, although I can't be sure. My workload will be unpredictable at best for some time.

I have, personally, built and completed a couple of levels, but one is W32-only. I suppose at a Revival it'd be easier to find eight people with that version than other places, though... I sure wouldn't want to explain to ten people of varying techical understanding how to get the thing working. :/

The really sad part is, I attempted to count forward from the current date to Saturday's date, yet I failed. :P

Anytime within the next three weeks is cool for me.

Behemoth: Basically, a revival is when us oldbies get together and start playing all at once. You can still catch a D2 game occasionaly on kali in the evening hours.

Revivals are fairly interestingly mixed, in that no matter what your skill level you can probably find someone to compete with. There are relative novices and just, uh... guys you want to avoid? All there at once. :)

So are the D2 Revivals relying on D2XWin32 yet?

Not yet; at least the last one didn't. That was still earlier in the upgrade cycle. If everyone could get it working (myself included; I've still been too lazy to set it up :P), then I think it would be great to use it, particularly the new CTF mode. That's up to Phaser, though.

D2X-W32 set up is pretty straight forward: Download the zip file, extract it to your Descent 2 folder, there you are. ;)

I am still planning to port D2X-W32 to Linux, so the D2X audience might grow a little larger.

I have a nice CTF level too ... "With Flying Colors". It's larger than Sirius' level, so will play differently. Not too many access routes to the flag rooms, so still controllable.

Folks hanging out on Kali may have noticed as well a few of us starting making d2 maps again. Just to fill times of boredom mostly...but you know. Good to have another revival. The sunday would be better for me. I have to work Saturday night. Any morning would be fine ;P

So is it the 28th? Any weekend but this one would be good for me - and I'd really love to be there. :)

At the Revivals, they're mostly newer levels, hence no. But the download link is always given; just have to watch for it.

Most of the time, someone will offer the level if you don't have it. If you don't have a particular level, then speak up. You'll find the kali crowd very accomidating when it comes to levels.

It would be handy to have a chance to run through the level before the revival. Unless everyone is new to the level.

When I was last playing against killer compitition everyone used Minerva. I guess that has gone by the wayside. Oh well, that's what you get when you are an old fart.

Deidel, if you port it to Linux I'll be more than happy to help you test it. I might even try the Windows version, as a point of reference... now where did I put that stupid Windows hard drive? :)

Thought so. BI3 was the only D3 level I could ever retain a winning record in. :P

I've got a few D2 levels I've made. Maybe I'll drop in on the revival and show them around.

I made a map that you can try out if you'd like. I like it when I'm playing with 4 or less players in game.

I guess so, though there hasn't been much in the way of confirmation of that date in here.

18th is fine with me.

The 28th wasn't too short of notice back on the 2nd when this thread was started. ;)

June 18th is very bad for me. I'm leaving the 16th for California (on the road for three of four days to get there) and won't be back until the end of the month. It will have to be before the 16th or sometime in July.
