New DBB Test Address

Post by Nitrofox125 »

Okay.. I had a domain upgrade, so the test DBB is not dbb.arasian.diginetstudios.com, it's http://www.fragwerkz.com/dbb or http://dbb.fragwerkz.com

so, when the transition is made, does everyones "power" level go back to where it was before. Or will people who are "admin" on that board get to remain as so?

It will unfortunately remain the same, only the BB will be PHPBB instead. Sadly.

Edit, Never Mind, it's better when using IE over NS

Sarge, its the same color scheme as it is here. Must be old age settling in a little too much? Image

EDIT: Just so you guys know, you're more than welcome to post whatever the hell you want on there. I want you guys to go on a posting spree. Just don't be an idiot and post something that would get anyone in any trouble. Especially Nitro since he was kind enough to host the test site for us. If you break something by accident, e-mail both Tetrad and myself giving a detailed descriptiong of what you did (step by step), what error msg came up, and what browser you were using at the time. Please be sure to confirm the error with someone else before you report it as it just might be something on your end.

If anyone has any problems getting the e-mail verification, e-mail me or Tetrad and we'll activate your account manually via the admin panel. (takes all of 5 seconds to load that page and activate your account)

Also I want you guys to complain about little things. I went through there but there still may be some consistancy things I missed. I can easily change the template now, but given that I don't think the admin here trusts me with DBB ftp access, I can't do it later. And I'm probably the one most familar with the way the HTML is set up now.

Yeah I was wondering how you managed that Image

How do you set the font size back to 100% in IE? it's been set at like 500% now and it's *so* annoying, but I can find no setting.

Either look in your view menu, or hold down the CTRL key and move your mouse wheel.

Why are the avatars so damn big?

I also agree with Tricord about loosing the sigs. When they where origonaly removed from the DBB I was kinda annoyed, but looking at the test board I realize what a irritating waste of space they where.

Also, the quote text seems a little small. Bumping it up a size would be nice.

Post issues on that board. So, you know, you can point them out easier.

Edit: also some of the issues are admin decisions. We're just working on getting the board itself looking right.

Mine is set for Small and the font is still really huge and annoying, like I'm being right now!

Looks fine to me....

Even a size smaller than this BB... Font settings do change themselves, I think it's a bug in IE.
