Yet Another Batmobile Thread

Post by Genghis »

But I've actually got a cool link:

http://batmobilehistory.com/index.html

The page has pictures of 60 different batmobiles, dating from 1941 to present.

There's also a bunch of Lego batmobiles, and a link to something called the "Batman Lego Film," which I'm too lazy to watch.

That's pretty cool.

I had no idea that it went all the way back '41, and that one was red no less.

Good find.

that 1950 model is really pretty cool.

It just too funny to look at those comic clips. It looks like Batman and Robin can barely fit in and are in danger of POPING out the windows. LOL

I really like the 97 version. Has a real muscle car feel. It's not the best but it's up there. ;)

But I agree with Tyranny. This one wins.

I'm with Clutch. The 66 Batmobile is the real deal.

I always figured they'd make the new Batman cartoon kinda weird-looking, so I'm not surprised to see that the Batmobile got "dorkinized" for it. The front head-on view (seen as Batman jumps into it) looks kinda cool, but doesn't make up for the rest of the car, which looks like a Matchbox wannabe. (Some of the villains in this show look almost like demons! Especially the Joker!)

But I always wondered why it needed two exausts??

The flame thing in the back and the 3 pipes sticking out behind the seats.

hrm .. would this qualify as a "Ricer"???

;)

The 89 version is good too, I would have liked to see the front end just a bit shorter tho.
