Holy crap... Possibly the best Kung-Fu movie... ever!

Ok, this is a matter of taste, I know...But take one part Jackie Chan, One part "Kill Bill", stir in "The Matrix" and season liberally with Loony Toons...

Buy, rent or steal "Kung-Fu Hustle"

Heh, saw that last night without it being dubbed or subbed. Even without understanding what anyone was saying I thought it was great. :D

Awesome movie.
A little more serious than my impression from other people, but yes, completely awesome.

See Ong-Bak! It comes out Tuesday 08-30.

Kung Fu Hustle is good. I liked it. But Ong-Bak is a different thing altogether. Ong-Bak has a more serious story, but still has a sense of humor.

The reason i like it more...no CGI and no flying on wires. The whole movie is 100 percent stunts and fighting. it may not have side-splitting humor, but the stunts are jaw dropping. See it.

:) I'll have to check out Ong-Bak...thx for the tip. I'm a pretty big Jackie Chan fan, so I like humor...and jaw dropping, REAL stunts.

Kung-Fu Hustle is kind of in a class by itself. There was wire and CGI work, but IMO it fit right in to the film's general silliness.

I saw Kung Fu Hustle last week. That was one of the wackiest movies I've ever seen.

Each to his own, I suppose, Ong Bak bored me. Hustle was far more original and entertaining.

Shaolin Soccer

I thought it was pretty awesome myself. If you want to just laugh your ass off with more of the same actors and more Kung-Fu, check out Shaolin Soccer as well, same director.

OK I watched Ong-Bak tonight... It was a pretty good movie. But comparing it to Kung-Fu Hustle? Apples and oranges, my friends.

Ong-Bak: Formulaic Martial Arts movie with some pretty spectacular Le Parkour-style stuntwork and an interesting martial arts variant.

Kung-Fu Hustle: Deconstructs the formulaic Martial Arts movie and creates a strange bastard variant that is halfway between an homage and a parody.

Really, though there's no comparing the two movies... Thanks for the tip!

Fantastic movie. Went with Emma last night - and even SHE enjoyed it! Amazing. I love the "fat woman" with the cigarette. Brilliant.

Well i did say it was a different thing altogether...

I'm not comparing the movies. I'm comparing my appreciation.
