well actually for real

I am looking for a good combat game I can play with freinds.

ROTK and POP are two hack n slash n slash n slash

Jedi Academy is just plain wierd, and too much work.

I heard Jade Empire is cool, but I can't play that on PC.

And not looking for a mortal kombat type of game (side view karate). Preferabbly something that I can play Co-Op with. I tried Contra wars on SNES recently, but looking for something newer, and not such a pain to play.

Any ideas?

Yes it has co-op.

if you want the fantasy sword setting, get either guild wars, or go back in time and get either hexen, or the original Jedi Knight.

Co-op is the whole point of Serious Sam. You and your buddies, battling hordes and hordes of monsters - it's great fun
