Haha, I couldn't even get past the Bios of this group that is after Chapelle... it was trying so hard to sound authentic I got sick of it.

i think the real explanation is obvious.

the show exceeded everyones expectations, even chappelle's. he wanted more money, which was well deserved imho. the notoriously greed comedy central held out on him.

ultimately they came to some agreement. hence, we are getting season 3 in 2006.
