He should be releasing a set of directions soon, so those of us who are not-so-artistically-inclined can make a bumbling attempt at our own version.

A.K.A. A pile of cardboard, glue and something not intirely unlike mold... I Hope it turns out good for him.
I wonder how hard it would be to make a die-cast Pyro-GX, now that I'd buy!

I can get something similar done but don't have the funds to do it.
I would have the pyro made directly from the 3d model MD has supplied me the required file, and then possibly make a silicon mold from the model then cast parts from the mold.
Pretty simple but then you would have to paint it.

anyone remember the keychains Scoundrel used to laser cut? He did a pyro and a Quake 2 symbol.

update:
it's finished and is currently being painted.
looks cool with the missile pods too.
