Bluetooth audio receiver

Post by Tricord »

Maybe someone can give some insight in this:

My laptop is Bluetooth capable, I'd like to buy a Bluetooth audio receiver so that I can connect it to my amp (using cinch jacks or 3.5mm stereo jack). On the laptop side, the receiver should be recognised as a soundcard, so that whatever sound my laptop makes streams directly and wirelessly to my amp.

Does this even exist?

Tia.

i'd would go with another wireless solution - the range from your laptop's bluetooth radio probably isn't on the long side.

Thanks flip, but that wasn't quite what I was looking for. It still requires me to hook up my laptop to the transceiver with a cable.

I'm looking for something that doesn't require any device connected to the laptop -- not even a bluetooth dongle. Having a small perimeter is not a problem for me.
