Ubuntu Christian Edition

Post by Top Wop »

Dual boot is not possible in Ubuntu Christian edition. \"Thou shalt have no other operating systems before Me...\".
In Ubuntu Christian Edition a member of the priests user group can execute this command: ln -s /usr/bin/wine /usr/bin/blood_of_Christ

From what I understand, it came fully formed as a distro. It did not evolve.

Ha! Funny!

I'm trying to get a dual boot Ubuntu set up right now.
I've forgotten most of my linux, got to learn more, I'm having trouble doing basic stuff like mounting drives.

BUT, Ubuntu is really nice. For anyone who didn't need to mess around under the hood, I think they could probably figure out the GUI in 10 minutes or so.

Ubuntu isn't bad... I still prefer Suse because of the system-wide control panel.

I did run across the UbuntuCE, and I wasn't impressed with the software list. I was surprised at how many of the more common translations and paraphrases of the Bible that the library was missing.

Good effort, but needs a bit more work, IMO.
