Empty text documents?

I also leave Google Calendar open in its own window on my second monitor.

Ever tried a search on Google?

I searched Google for \"sticky note program\" and the first 5 links are all good products and 3 of them are for free sticky note programs.

Think you might like Zhorn Software's free product (and it allows you to send notes to other computers).

I (personally) like version 5 of this one. Version 6 and newer require purchase. I happen to have a copy of version 5 which was (and still is) Free if you can find a download link for it.

One comes with Kubuntu Linux... I haven't actually used it much at all, but its there. Doubtful if there's a windows port.

Yes I did search Google and found a bunch so that's why I wanted some personal recommendations.

I'll take a look at Zhorn Software's free product.

Thanks for the posts

I keep all my notes in NoteTab. It's great little text editor. You can open multiple text files in different tabs, or use \"outline\" format to organize lots of notes in one text file under different headings.

Plus, NoteTab has a scripting language that is very powerful.

AND, it runs pretty well under Wine. :)

I've opted for http://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/stickies/

It's for my wife and this one seems as easy as any and has an alarm.

Thanks for the posts.
