Need Help... any ideas?

Hey so basically I need to go as a Super Nintendo character for something my school is doing. My class theme is Super Nintendo Seniors. Anybody have any ideas on a character I could go as? And how I could dress up?

Thanks. I'm looking for something a little different (not Mario) but also something that I'll realistically be able to dress up as. I can spend some money on a costume as well (like 40 bucks).

Ah, yes, you're right. I seem to remember seeing the character take her helmet off if you got through the original Metroid a 2nd time..?
