YES - SCORE!! Two tickets to see Simon and Garfunkel live! It cost me nearly a grand, but who cares?? Last time they were in Aust. together was 1983.

If you're a big fan and it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing (which, I guess, it probably is now) I can see it being worth it. I wouldn't spend that much on anything of the sort myself though.

All I will say is - the show better not disappoint!

Ya know, I used to hit all these concerts for $5-7 in the early 70's. (Never saw these guys, though.)

Enjoy. :D

I was thinking about that this morning - I doubt "Bridge over Troubled Waters" wil be on the songlist somehow... :(

For the record, it's not that I'm a huge S&G diehard tragic (I'm a fan, but not a fanatic) - it's more a mater of ticking them off 'the list' - that list of huge name acts you keep in your head that you'd love to see before they stop performing altogether.

How about you guys - who's on your "must-see-before-they-cark-it" list?

I'd love to see Muse in concert but they're not going to die of old age any time soon. Honestly there are no older bands I'm waiting for.

Never seen Willie yet--gotta get on that. If I don't I dunno if I'd be able to live with myself.

Yes and Ditto on Zepplin, but not too late for AC/DC - they're starting a new world tour sometime soon for their latest album.

They are on my see-before-they-snuff-it list too! :)
