I'm a Nuggets guy and hated seeing the Lakers move past us, but I gotta give 'em some credit. They fixed their defensive issues from last year, finally got tough in the latter part of the playoffs this year, and looked pretty impressive in the Finals.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe eventually matches Jordan's six titles.

Psh, sit down.

Credit where credit is due though, Kobe is a great player.

The Magic simply could not hang with the Lakers. The better team won.

Wish the Laker's hadn't though.

I blame the coach for sticking in a very rusty and un-himself Nelson in the last couple of games where the Magic could have won, when instead he should have continued to sit on the bench after being out for 4 months. They were doing fine in the playoffs without him, why in the most important series to you bring back a rusty player who admits himself that he is not clicking yet?

Kobe is under .500 in his career when not playing alongside a top-25 player (in PER). Kobe is great when paired with a dominant big (Shaq, Pau)... but he's no MJ, and he's no LeBron. Stick him on an average team with average teammates, and he's pretty good, but I wouldn't call him great.

Credit where credit is due -- the Lakers management has done a great job of building a good team with solid role-players (like Ariza), and they did a great job ripping off Memphis for a dominant big. And Phil coached circles around Van Gundy.
