Mechwarrior Movie!

I don't believe it! I never knew about a Mechwarrior movie! I just happened to stumble upon it at IGN.

IGN article here. It does not list a Descent movie evnen though the books would be great to make a movie out of.

Robotech at least has the excuse of being anime. Hehe.

Whatever this Mechwarrior film is, it could end up being anywhere from great to dross. Considering that GI Joe wasn't sophisticated by any stretch, I'm leaning towards the latter.

There had been a Descent movie planned years ago, but it evaporated. The proposition came to the floor when the First Hulk movie was being considered; so that gives you a time frame.
