Descent saved game editor

I'm looking for a save editor that can edit a game save with user defined weapons, ammo, score, and lives.

I have been able to find two save editors, but they do not work in the way I want them too. One called DESPATCH will not allow me to adjust my score (for "cheating fairness." Come on...), and I am running into errors when I use Descent Manager v0.06bf. I cannot find a link to a download for DESCMAN v2.0 or to anything made after 0.06bf because the links are so old that they are gone.

Are there any ways to edit a game save that exist? I need to restore a lost save to the beginning of Level 16 in Descent 1, right from where I left off for a video Let's Play.
